Somebody Groovy is a 16 hand, 2001 Appendix mare. I owned her in the spring/summer of 2007 until finding out that she had many holes in both check ligaments of her front legs. This caused chronic, solid swelling with no warmth or lameness. I traded her for Sam in order to give her a more relaxed training regiment. After finding out that she was for sale due to the health of her owner I arranged to trade the two horses back. Ellie still packs my mom around like she never stopped. Unfortunately this was not Ellie's year to be pregnant. We will try again next year.
